Have you taken a Personality Test?

Does it invite a deeper conversation within you? And if so, do you feel compelled to share any insights with your friends? What do they think? Have your friends taken a personality test?

What do you think about your friends’ typologies?

Previously on Pulp Conversations we covered Spiral Dynamics with Jordan Owens.

So what is the difference?

I must confess I never heard about Enneagram until Sara told me about and I never heard about Spiral Dynamics until Jordan told me about that.

But since then, I tried to go to school on both frameworks to understand them better.

My current understanding is that Enneagram is about who you are and why you do what you do; Spiral Dynamics is about how you think and what you value as you evolve.

Enneagram is a map of your inner landscape.

Spiral Dynamics is a map of your worldview’s altitude.

Sara is Enneagram 7: The Enthusiast

Sara and I discussed some of her trepidations and contemplations about having a child, especially in light of her Enneagram-style.

So of course I asked my trusty AI assistant for the down-low:

Is having a child consistent with Sara’s Personality Type?

Sara’s core desire:

Freedom

Sara’s core fear:

Trapped in Deprivation

Sara’s core strengths:

Motherhood Through the Lens of Spiral Dynamics

If I ruled the world (imagine that)
I'd free all my sons, I love 'em, love 'em, baby
Black diamonds and pearls
(Could it be, if you could be mine, we'd both shine)
If I ruled the world
(Still livin' for today, in these last days and times)
